PROJECT DETAILS

XL Industrial and its crews provided materials and equipment to fabricate and install piping systems, pumps, supports, process equipment and customer (1) Butane vessel to complete the installation of the new Butane Blending System. Pipe welding was fabricated per B31.3 downhill welding. with 10% xray of total pipe welding. Included hydro-testing, and N2 (nitrogen) purging on tank and process piping. Provided and installed all required civil requirements for installation including site clearing and grading, compaction testing, concrete piers and supports, asphalt and final gravel dressing to return the work area to pre-construction conditions.

The protective coating divisions provided all necessary steps for surface preparations for the Butane Blending Vessel, piping, valves and pumps utilizing grit blasting and applying a three coat specified system for ultimate protection, including the fabricated and installed project supports, erecta steps, platforms and stairs. Tank and process piping decals and identification were applied after curing. The project was completed per outlined schedule, safely and without incident. The new system was turned over to the owner after full inspection by third party inspection services for commissioning by the owner.
