Safety

Safety is our primary focus.

XL Industrial Services has a comprehensive safety program that addresses the work specific hazards our employees face on a daily basis. Our safety programs include, but are not limited to, confined space entry, fall protection, lockout/tagout, hot work, equipment operation, hazard communication and rigging. Our goal is to provide a safe and productive work site at all times. XL has the knowledge and experience required to upgrade, repair and replace piping that has been in extremely flammable, explosive or toxic service. We are skilled at working in environments that require the most extreme caution and attention to safety.

Our motto 'Safety First, Quality Always' is real and meaningful for the entire company. Annually,  XL Industrial Services invests nearly $250,000 in our employees' safety -- including the utilization of a state-of-the-art mobile app, safety training, safety summits and employee safety incentive programs. The XL Safety App allows field foreman to access the application with a company-issued iPad that instantly reports back to the management team from anywhere in the country. 'Safety First' isn't just a motto, it's a real commitment from each and every employee at XL Industrial Services.

We also maintain a DOT drug testing program. All employees are required to actively participate in the random drug testing program. Additionally, all new employees are subject to new hire drug testing. All subcontractors are qualified based upon safety performance and upon approval, must, at minimum, follow our safety practices. Adherence to these policies insures that our customers maintain a safe and educated work force equal to that of XL's own personnel. Our goal is to provide a safe and productive work site at all times.
